About

Amy K. Pix is an early career sound artist and sound designer working across theatre, audio, and her own original music and sound art. She has worked as a composer/sound designer on productions at The Egg, Camden People’s Theatre, and Cheltenham Everyman Theatre; as an Associate Sound Designer at Shakespeare North Playhouse, and has observed processes at venues like the National Theatre.

She is a first year student at UAL, studying a BA in Sound Arts: Design. She graduated with a Distinction from Bath Theatre Academy in 2025, which trained her as a theatre-maker and where she undertook numerous sound design opportunities including being an Associate Sound Designer on ‘Animal Farm’ and ‘The Crucible’.

Her sound designs combine original music, field recordings and ambient textures, and are highly detailed and immersive.

On self-led projects, she is interested in exploring themes of ecology, climate and trans identity. Some of these include audio projects ‘Echoes of the River’ (Resonance FM), and ‘Portal’. She has also released her own music under the name ‘tiny geese’, creating folk-inspired music with ambient textures rooted in nature and our emotions.
